The consensus for 2014 GDP growth has been lifted to 0.8% this month, after the economy expanded by a solid 0.7% (q-o-q) in Q4. A negative contribution from net trade was offset by upturns in private consumption and gross fixed investment which are expected to underpin activity this year.
