1. Modest Q3 GDP growth of 0.2% (q-o-q) followed an upwardly-revised 0.3% expansion in Q2. The krone, which has weakened significantly this year, boosted firms' competitiveness and supported the 4.6% (q-o-q) Q3 increase in exports. The economy remains fragile, though, as low oil prices weigh heavily on oil & gas investments and exports. The current account surplus was NOK 43.6bn in Q3, much lower than Q2's NOK 71.1 bn figure, although our panel's forecasts have noticeably risen.
