Having avoided a strict national lockdown in the spring, record rates of Covid-19 infections in the past week prompted the government to set out new restrictions including the temporary closure of bars and restaurants. It is hoped that these measures can curb the spread without a major setback to activity which is tipped to have rebounded solidly in Q3, following a-8.5% (q-o-q) downturn in Q2.
