The 0.5% (q-o-q) Q2 GDP expansion equalled that of Q1, marking another period of resilience in which the Dutch economy outperformed the average pace across the Euro zone (0.2%). It was feared that momentum could stall sooner due to exposure to trade-related headwinds, yet it now appears that these risks may be largely avoided until 2020, with GDP growth expected to slow to 1.4%.
