Despite a downturn in Brent prices (page 27), solid activity in the oil and gas sector has buoyed the 2019 GDP outlook. Latest manufacturing data showed that activity picked up by 1.6% (q-o-q) in Q2, following a -0.2% decline in Q1. Production should stay positive in Q3 according to the business tendency survey, although confidence has dipped a little.
