Norway's projected GDP growth rate in 2019 has dipped to 2.2% this month, leaving it on course to match last year's outturn. Higher oil and gas investment is expected to bolster the expansion, while the weak krone is helping to partially shield exporters from external headwinds. The robust outlook prompted another 25bps rate hike by the Norges Bank in June, a third rise in less than a year, and further tightening is pencilled in before end-2019.
