TheTransferModule 1500 is a semi-automatic stripping/ crimping platform for linking production processes that require one or two linear movements. Complex processing steps can be automated where precise repetition is critical, says the company, improving quality and reducing labor at a fraction of the cost of a fully automatic system. As a semi-automatic solution, shorter cycle times and reduced component handling times are possible, allowing the TransferModule 1500 to complete a repeatable link of several independent operations. Application possibilities include multi-layer rotary stripping, crimping of various terminals, connector housing assembly, sensor cable assembly, and wire tinning or compaction. Customer-specific processes can be quickly integrated via a PLC-driven open architecture operated with a PC.
