Last year, as vendors of video products got ready to display their wares at Supercomm 2000, they were sure that the telecom carriers were ready to demand what they were ready to supply. A year and a Nasdaq plunge later, those same carriers are much less eager, and the vendors are digging in for the long haul as they get ready for Supercomm 2001.
