Broadband stimulus scramble

In the "Be careful what you wish for" category, let's put all the complaining about how slowly the federal government moves when it comes to telecom.rnHaving done my fair share of whining about the inability to pass meaningful telecom reform in the early '90s, the uncertainty around unbundling that paralyzed the industry in the early 2000s, and more recently the FCC's lack of broadband leadership, I'm not really in a position to complain that the broadband stimulus plan seems to be a freight train that is charging out of the station, not knowing whether the tracks ahead are stable.
