摘要

On the analysis of DUOS, it is proposed a new pipeline TCAM-Based structure for IP addresslookup, PLTCAM. PLTCAM transforms the equal position of LTCAM and ITCAM into a pipelinestructure, thus acquiring better search power consumption than DUOS and still maintaining thesignificant memory management performance on incremental updating of DUOS. In addition, aparallel processing structure, PPLTCAM, is presented to further improve the IP lookup performanceof throughput. Simulation results show that PPLTCAMhas the throughput performance ofparallelism structures, maintaining thememorymanagement performance on incremental updatingand the low power consumption of PLTCAM. Therefore, PPLTCAM is an IP address lookupstructure with good comprehensive performances.
