Concrete adds colour to your life

With decorative concrete now such a popular trend in construction, landscaping and design, many contractors have seen the enormous opportunity and added such work to their list of services. In early 2016, PICS acquired the Hatcrete brand of concrete colouring products including Colourmix for addition to ready-mixed concrete and Adcolour for use predominantly in the precast sector. Reviewing the range of projects and applications for which Hatcrete products have been used over the past 20 years, it is encouraging to see how many designers have appreciated the benefits of concrete as a strong and durable material, and have been prepared to find ways of using colour and texture to enhance it and recreate the look of natural but expensive materials.
