Despite the introduction of several new technologies, many e-commerce portals have vanished. Emad Samwel believes the reason for this has a human face. During the past 10 years, e-commerce and radio frequency identification (RF1D) technologies have been introduced into the liner industry as tools to increase efficiency, improve communications and facilitate realtime collaboration among supply chain partners.
