Con-way experiences mixed financial results

The US-headquartered 3PL, truckload and LTL provider Con-way reported a mixed bag of financial results for the first nine months of 2007, with its logistics interests performing considerably better than its roadfreight services. Con-way's total revenues dropped slightly in this period, compared to January-September 2006, from USD3.22 billion to USD3.18 billion, and its operating profit decreased by 31.2%, down to USD200.9 million.
