Allcargo to invest heavily in logistics

India-based Allcargo Global Logistics (AGL), a multimodal transport operator, plans to invest INR4 billion (USD101.5 million) in the development of logistics parks, container freight stations and inland container depots over the next two years. Its plan include logistics parks in seven locations, namely Nagpur, Hyderabad, Pithampur, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi. Also, it plans to develop a warehousing facility in Goa to cater for increasing transport demand in the region.
