HMM ups revenue by 9.1% in Q3

Hyundai Merchant Marine performed well in the third quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year. However, like compatriot Hanjin, it still has a long way to go to catch the market leaders. Its revenue increased by 9.1% up to KRW1,345,185 (USD1,470) million, thanks to a pick up in the eastbound transpacific trade, a strong average freight rate increase in the westbound tradelane from Asia to Europe, and a flourishing bulk market.
