The group of ocean carriers monitored by CI increased their average freight rates in all tradelanes in Q3 2007, compared with the previous quarter. The star of the show was the westbound tradelane from Asia to Europe, which continued to storm ahead, while the dominant eastbound transpacific and westbound transatlantic routes failed to live up to expectations.
