INTTRA has significantly improved the way that shippers can book cargo electronically with its ocean carrier members. INTTRA Link 2.0, the first release in a series delivered on its Booking 2.0 application, allows shippers to: 1. better define hazardous cargo details, thereby eliminating the need for some parallel processes normally associated with cargo acceptance. 2. expand on reefer cargo requirements, including an improved range of temperatures and atmospheric settings. 3. More clearly define inland haulage requirements at a per container level, including empty container positioning, multiple pick-ups, and multi-stop export haulage. In areas where it is common practice, carriers can also provide container-level release numbers in a multi-container booking.
