Hupac Reports Rail Increase

During the first six months of this year Italy-based Hupac's European rail liftings rose by 6.9%,to 374,551 consignments,compared to the same period in 2007. As the majority of this traffic consists of 13.8m swapbodies favoured by intra-European shipper/consignees, this is equivalent to 861.467TEU. Hupac also handles some maritime traffic.
