The Clean Trucks Program,initiated jointly by the US ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach,is facing major objections from the country's trucking industry. The American Trucking Association (ATA), with the support of its Intermodal Motor Carriers Conference (IMCC), has filed a lawsuit in the US District Court, seeking an injunction preventing the scheduled October 1, 2008 start-up.
