Amongst much speculation and rumour,it has been con-firmed that at least two bidders have made it into the second round of the sale of Hapag-Lloyd's container business. Both Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), the parent company of APL, and the German consortium including Kuehne + Nagel and Hamburg's state Government, have confirmed being asked to submit binding bids, following the submission of non-binding bids in July.
