ICTSI income up

Manila-headquartered International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) has announced a 52% increase in its net income to PHP2.8 billion (USD69.5 million) in 2007. This was achieved on turnover of PHP 15 billion (USD372.2 million), up 27% on the same period of 2006. Operating profit (EBIT) of PHP4.9 billion (USD121.6 million) rose 26% on the figure posted in 2006, giving the group a return on sales of 32.7%, slightly down on the 32.9% registered in 2006.
