SITC seals slot charter contract

Qingdao-based SITC Container Lines is to offer its customers a sixth weekly sailing on the highly competitive Shanghai-Tokyo/Yokohama corridor. The carrier's latest service, which commenced in early March, follows the conclusion of a slot purchase deal with Sinotrans. Dubbed the SKT 7 service, it will call at Shanghai, Tokyo and Yokohama from where the vessel will return to China.
