Japan's MOL is taking on decidedly different cargo. Its latest project is transporting mobile library vehicles to South Africa where they will travel around schools with no libraries.rnMOL's efforts to push up literary levels in South Africa were recognised in a ceremony in Tokyo recently, when the ocean carrier attended a departure ceremony for the 'South Africa Mobile Library Vehicle Project' along with the Ambassador of South Africa in Japan and the South Africa Primary Education Support Initiative. They watched the departure of two MOL ships bound with 12 library units.
