APL Logistics and Con-way Freight have extended their time-definite delivery service for less-than-containerload freight traffic from Asia into Mexico. Hitherto the service has been restricted to destinations in the US and Canada.rnThe partners claim that OceanGuaranteed offers a service that is as reliable as the air freight sector but at least 60% cheaper.rnThey attribute its reliability to the fact that in most cases all of the important links in the supply chain (including the vessels, trucks and terminals) are controlled by either one of the stakeholders.
