APM T sells stake in YICT to Cosco

The Hague-headquartered APM Terminals (APM T) is pulling out of the Shenzhen port complex in southern China after selling its 9.7% share in Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT) to China Cosco Holdings' terminal arm Cosco Pacific. The price of the transaction was USD520 million.rnThe deal is subject to approval and is expected to close in June this year. The shares in the Yantian terminal were purchased by the AP Moller-Maersk Group in 1994.
