Freight rate volatility has been one of the biggest problems for shippers this year - the blame for which has been put squarely at the door of ocean carriers. This is one the messages from Containerisat/on International magazine's 'Shippers' Survey 2011'. Surcharges and schedule reliability are also the issues raised by shippers as creating problems.
