US/Mexico cross-trucking gets all-clear

The US and Mexico have resolved the dispute over long-haul, cross-border trucking services that forced Mexico to impose retaliatory tariffs on US imports over two years ago. The agreement signed at the start of July between US transportation secretary Ray LaHood and Mexico's secretary of communication and transport Dionisio Arturo Perez-Jacome Friscione will lead to withdrawing Mexico tariffs on more than USD2 billion worth of US manufactured goods and agricultural products.
