Eivind Kolding, who heads up the world's largest liner shipping company, Maersk Line, used the recent TOC Europe conference in Antwerp to call for a new way of thinking in the liner shipping industry. In a passionate and highly focused address, Ready Steady Change, he warned that liner shipping could suffer a similar fate to those in the music and mobile phone industries that did not embrace web-based technology and change their ways.
