Of the container trade analysed this month, all continued to show considerable growth in Q3 10 versus Q3 09. Based upon the evidence of trade data available to date, relative to a base year of 2006, our global index of loaded TEU for Q3 10 shows a seasonally adjusted uplift to 126.1 and a forecast of 129.3 for Q4 10. The annual growth rate for 2010 globally is projected to have reached 18%.
