Kolkata's Diamond Harbour back on track

The proposed Diamond Harbour development at the Indian port of Kolkata is back on the cards following Government approval for the acquisition of 40 acres of land from the Defence Ministry. The port authority plans to develop the project as a public-private initiative on build, operate and transfer terms. It is thought that interest in the project will be keen, with CI having been reliably informed that DP World and PSA International are already lining up bids.
