TOTE voices 'huge' cost concerns over cut in ship emmission

The president of TOTE has serious concerns about the North American Emissions Control Area (ECA) requirements which come into effect this year, warning that it witl add 'huge' costs and so be a 'huge shock to the system' of customers.rnThe ECA requires that ships burn fuel with a sulphur content of less than 1% along the US east coast (USEC) and US west coast (USWC) from August this year. This will go down to just 0.1% in 2015.
