MSC axes bunker surcharge

Mediterranean Shipping Co has stopped applying bunker, piracy or Suez Canal surcharges separately to freight charges on the Asia-Europe and Mediterranean trades. The carrier ceased publishing any updates for its bunker utilisation contribution, piracy surcharge or Suez Canal surcharge on June 1 on the trade from Asia and Bangladesh to northern Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic, western Mediterranean, Adriatic, eastern Mediterranean, North Africa and the Black Sea.
