OOCL Q1 revenues up

In OOCL's quarterly unaudited operational update, the Hong Kong-headquartered carrier saw volumes across all services decline 0.3% year on year to 1.2m teu, while revenue increased 3.6% to $1.4bn. Volumes on its largest trade lane, intra-Asia/Australia, increased 0.5% to 631,416 teu. Transpacific liftings were up 0.5% to 308,149 teu and Asia-Europe volumes jumped 2.1% to 206,759 teu.
