Hamburg Sued reports weak full-year results

Privately-owned German ocean carrier Hamburg Sud has submitted slightly stronger than expected full-year results, saying that 2012 was "better, but not yet good enough". It also said it had reached "no agreement" on the major points of its merger talks with its Hamburg-based compatriot Hapag-Lloyd, which broke off in late March, and that a "resumption is unforeseeable at this time".
