Neptune Orient Lines returned to the black in the first quarter of the year, thanks to the sale of its headquarters, but has warned that the industry "remains saddled with overcapacity". The Singapore-headquartered company reported a first-quarter net profit of $76m, compared with a loss of $254m during the same period last year and a fourth-quarter 2012 loss of $98m.
