CKYHE eyes expansion into US trades next spring

The CKYHE alliance has begun to seek regulatory approval to expand its network to cover US trades in a widely expected move as partnerships among major carriers continue to dominate east-west routes. In a joint statement, Cosco Container Lines, K Line, Yang Ming Marine Transport, Hanjin Shipping and Evergreen Line said they had filed their expansion proposal to the US Federal Maritime Commission, China's transport ministry and the European Commission.
