Off-site construction (OSC) is a grow-ing market, and one that is expected to increase significantly in the coming years due to the benefits it offers in terms of improved construction delivery times, health and safety, and skills. With UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown's new government now taking shape, construction is coming out top of the agenda. Eco Towns are becoming an increasing possibility and with the promise of three million new homes by 2020 and large-scale public sector building programmes for health and education in the pipeline, there is a significant business opportunity for OSC, thanks to the quick and cost-effective solution that it offers.
