The Numerical Tours of Signal Processing Part 2: Multiscale Processings

Part two of this three-part series focuses on the main features of the NTSP online tutorials for advanced computational signal and image processing. In the Numercial Tours of Signal Processing (NTSP) tutorials, users follow a step-by-step Matlab or Scilab implementation of important processing algorithms. Although they're certainly a suitable state-of-the-art method for practitioners, the tutorials are also designed to help undergraduate students understand recent theoretical and numerical advances in signal and image processing. In addition to the numerical part of the processing, the tours also discuss connections with relevant mathematical notions. Users can apply the proposed method to various signal, image, movie, and 3D mesh datasets.
