The issue of generating strong cryptographic keys from the biometric features of individuals is addressed in this paper. It proposes an original scheme that overcomes some of the limitations of other approaches. The main advantages of this system are higher entropy in key generation, a finer way to define distinguishing features (features that are significant for a subject), and computational efficiency. This is a very interesting paper. It is very dense and technical, which might make it somewhat hard to read for those who are not familiar with the subject. However, some examples allow the reader to grasp the essential contributions of the paper.
