Understanding the characteristics of quality for software engineering processes: a grounded theory investigation

A software engineering process is a process that controls all software project activities, producing requirements, specifications, implementation, and other services. The quality of a software project is influenced by the quality of a software engineering process. However, the quality of software engineering processes is dependent on practitioners, and each practitioner uses his or her own criteria based on the purpose of the project and other constraints. As software projects need to be developed quickly and accurately, there is a need for a systematic and objective software engineering process.
