Hardware for soft computing and soft computing for hardware

摘要

This little book presents a snapshot of advanced research and implementation of soft computing algorithms. Soft computing may be defined as a computing paradigm in which neither input data nor output data needs to be precise. Part 1 is devoted to the implementation of specific algorithms into hardware, while Part 2 is concerned with the use of soft computing paradigms in the design of hardware building blocks. Each chapter in Part 1 (there are eight) presents a solution to a specific soft computing task. The chapters are brief, and many details are omitted, but the core design ideas are well conveyed.
