摘要

The title may sound like a science fiction novel, but this collection of papers describes the real problems and conflicts present in today's news. Today's headlines are not fatuous cyberspace trifles. Rather, they are indications of serious problems our world faces, as described by Chris C. Demchak, co-director for Cyber Conflict Studies (C3S) at the United States Naval War College, in the foreword: Today we are on the cusp of a "Cybered Conflict" age in which war as we knew it is likely to be difficult to bound, longer, more covert, more surprising in its scale, targets, and tempo, and ultimately more difficult to discern its beginning, end, adversaries, and motivations.
