Smartphones, tablets, and touchscreen computers use touch-, pen-, or stylus-based interfaces in applications to take input from the user. These applications process the user input provided as strokes through gesture-recognition-based interfaces. There is a $-family of recognizers that recognizes single strokes, multistrokes, and unordered point-cloud-based gestures. The authors introduce an extension to this $-family of recognizers, Penny Pincher.
