摘要

Nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs) are widespread in science and engineering. They assist in solving many problems, as well as model many things surrounding us. This textbook presents the fundamentals of NLPDE with problem-solving examples. It covers the Burgers equation and KdV equation, among other (nonlinear) PDEs, and concisely discusses the methods for solving these NLPDEs. The last chapter provides solutions to the different exercises covered in the previous six chapters. I appreciate this because some textbooks do not include the solutions.
