This is an excellently written text, the second edition of the book by Geza Schay, emphasizing the principles of probability but housed in major topics of statistics. The reader is cautioned that the book is calculus based and can be used productively by mathematics students, computer science students, and both undergrad and grad students in business and/or MBA courses as long as the courses are, as said, calculus based.
