Websense Inc. has announced it has discovered a spam and Web site spoofing campaign designed to fool people into thinking the U.S. has invaded Iran. At press time, the U.S. had not in fact invaded Iran because all of its soldiers were either on active duty in Afghanistan or Iraq, or were AWOL and seeking refugee status in Canada. San Diego-based Websense's Security Labs ThreatSeeker Network announced the Storm Worm campaign has started a "social engineering" campaign with this aim.
