In an effort to improve software development practices, IBM Corp. rolled out a new licensing model for its Rational software portfolio and moved some of its software and systems development tools to the cloud.rnThe company referred to its new licencing option as "token term pricing," which it said would give organizations tremendous flexibility when accessing IBM's cloud-based software development and delivery capabilities.
