Is everyone a leader?

I'm coming to the end of my time allocation for the second Blog Idol topic - Strategies for inspiring, motivating and leading IT staff. I think the posts so far have mostly been about leading and less about inspiring and motivating (I could be wrong on this). What are the traits of a good leader? For inspiration on this I went to Google, of course, and found a Web site called "Leadership 501."
