Ubiquitous cell phones and GPS units have enhanced our convenience, given us confidence in our location and, it could be argued, improved our quality of life. Not so much for rangers at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, according to the New York Times (by way of News of the Weird). Rangers there have complained that park users "do 'stupid' things, confident they will be saved from themselves."
