摘要

Advances in computational practices allow the pre-prototype design of smart fluid devices to be contemplated - for excitable non-Newtonian fluids with unsteady operation and three dimensional flow, in a non-adiabatic and a non-isothermal fashion. Also, the parameters associated with fast unsteady hydraulic valve operation and complex geometries can be linked by computational means. This paper will give an insight on what may now be achieved to guide the pre-prototyping stage of smart fluid device design and show verification of the various examples presented to back up the theme.
